I have been using the MTN blackberry handheld device to browse the internet for a year now, and has come to see that I am not enjoying some of its functions like the flash player that will enable me watch several channels and enhance other playing and video streaming functions.

Is there any other person that uses such device to browse the internet? How can I set up the Adobe flash (version 8) as required by this service?

I use MTN blackberry also and I don't have the adobe flash.

You might need to call them on 216 from your MTN phone or call the following numbers.

Lekan 08032005748
Moiza 08032005665
Tony 08032004065
Loveline 08032003231

Meanwhile there are applications I have not been able to use on the blackberry device and they keep telling me that the BIS service is not enabled for such. Services like yahoo messenger, msn messenger, google talk, e.t.c.
I expect that since all these applications have blackberry versions it means blackberry or RIM actually provided for them in their service. Is it MTN that is blocking them on their servers?

I even visited the MTN office to make enquiries and they told me that this version of Blackberry that I use does not support flash services. They said the other model that has cameraphone does support Adobe flash (the smaller type.) I agree with you, its MTN trying to block it. Maybe it will be a little costlier to support in their network?
